A 17-year-old girl is hospitalized after being stabbed in the chest with a butcher knife during a dispute at Paradise Hills Community Park, San Diego Police reported Monday.
The incident occurred Sunday at 4:37 p.m. at the park located at 6784 Potomac St. The teenager and a 21-year-old woman, who were with a group of women drinking alcohol, began arguing, according to a police statement.

During the altercation, the teenager struck the woman with a stiletto-heeled shoe, and the woman responded by stabbing her in the chest. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, authorities said. Southeastern Division detectives are investigating the case.
