Officers with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to calls about a fire at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, outside the Corvette Diner on Historic Decatur Rd in Liberty Station.

According to authorities, a Nissan Xterra caught fire for unknown reasons and the flames spread to three other nearby vehicles.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 20 minutes. No injuries were reported. San Diego Police were on the scene and had the area blocked off.

According to the SDFD, a preliminary investigation shows nothing suspicious; however, the case remains under investigation.
