A man approximately 50 years old was run over Tuesday morning in front of the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) building in Mexicali. The incident occurred when a vehicle, carrying a couple, struck him on Río Nuevo Avenue.

The victim's body and the involved vehicle ended up in front of the Attorney General's building. Members of the Attorney General's Office responded to the scene, which was also secured by municipal officers.

Traffic on Río Nuevo was closed while the corresponding investigations were conducted.
