Following the kidnapping and murder of eight-year-old Camila, residents of Taxco, Guerrero, decided to take justice into their own hands and lynched a woman and two men implicated in her death.

Camila's case began when she disappeared after being invited to play at a friend's house. Subsequently, her death was confirmed, with her body found in a black bag along the road connecting to Morelos.

The family received extortion calls demanding a considerable sum for her release, initiating a series of events that culminated in the lynching of the alleged perpetrators. State and federal authorities failed to contain the situation or apprehend the suspects, exacerbating community anger.

In various videos circulated on the social network X, the woman is seen inside the municipal police patrol and guarded by four officers. However, faced with the furious mob, they could not protect her, leading to her being removed from the vehicle on numerous occasions and subjected to beatings by enraged citizens, resulting in her death.

Other videos show similar acts being carried out on one of the men implicated in the minor's murder. The footage depicts the man being taken out of another police unit and being subjected to numerous beatings.

In response to this situation, local and state authorities have promised not to tolerate impunity and have initiated investigations to clarify the events and bring those responsible to justice.
