Eight vehicles set on fire and multiple cargo trucks with bullet impacts reported
In the early hours of Monday, a violent confrontation erupted along the Tuxtla Gutiérrez-Berriozábal highway in Chiapas, leaving two dead and a chaotic scene of burning vehicles and roadblocks.
Witnesses report the involvement of several armed groups linked to organized crime in the area. The conflict is presumed to be connected to the "Chiapas Guatemala Cartel".

In addition to the fatalities, eight vehicles set on fire and multiple cargo trucks with bullet impacts are reported, along with three affected buses. The disturbances lasted from four to seven in the morning.
Although no injuries have been reported, images depict the violence of the confrontation.
