Businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego recently disclosed an incident in Naples, Italy, where his yacht collided with the vessel formerly owned by Steve Jobs, now in the possession of his wife Laurene Powell.
Through the platform X, the founder of Grupo Salinas shared a video showing the moment of impact.
"I'll tell you… Steve Jobs' yacht, now owned by his wife Laurene, hit us while we were anchored off Naples. I’d like to know what the captain and crew were doing that they didn’t see a yacht of my size in front of them," accused the magnate.
Salinas Pliego explained that the incident resulted in a "scratch," though he admitted it "will cost a lot to repair." Despite the lack of serious damage, the businessman joked about the repair costs: "The good news is that nothing more than a scratch happened, but it’s a big scratch that’s going to cost a lot to fix hahaha."

In a humorous tone, he invited his followers to buy Apple products to help cover the costs: "So go to @ElektraMx and buy Apple products to help pay for their little joke."
Finally, Salinas Pliego advised having a "responsible captain" and shared the video of the accident, commenting: "Here’s the video so you can see that there are no shortages of idiots in the world and understand how important it is to have a responsible and attentive captain."
"Well, we’ll just keep enjoying the vacation," concluded the businessman.
