Israel intensifies its offensive in Palestinian refugee camps in Gaza, warning that the confrontation with Hamas will last for months. The UN expresses deep concern over reports of Israeli attacks causing deaths in various camps, including Bureij, Nuseirat, and Maghazi.
The Hamas-led Ministry of Health reports that at least 195 people have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to over 21,100 victims, mostly children and women, during 11 weeks of combat. The situation worsens, and the Palestinian president describes the reality in Gaza as beyond a war of annihilation.
Palestinian media report ongoing attacks in Gaza, with the UN warning of a catastrophic humanitarian situation, destroyed roads, and overwhelmed shelters and hospitals.
The Chief of Staff of the IDF, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, announces that the fighting with Hamas will continue for months, with the determination to dismantle the organization. The Palestinian president warns of the possible implosion of the West Bank.
Despite international calls to reduce the intensity of military operations, Israel does not relent. Additional regional tensions linked to Iran-backed groups are reported. Furthermore, new incidents and Palestinian casualties occur in the West Bank during Israeli incursions.
