"These barbaric and sadistic animals simply beheaded her while attacking, torturing, and killing Israelis," expressed the President of Israel

On this monday, the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, revealed the cruel murder of the young Shani Louk, who had attended a festival near Gaza, and whose body was displayed inside a truck by the terrorist group Hamas."

During an interview for the German news network "Bild," the president revealed how Louk lost her life. "I deeply regret to inform you that we have received news confirming that Shani Nicole Louk has been murdered and killed. Her skull has been found," the president stated.

According to the president, Israel's security forces had discovered her skull, "which means that these barbaric and sadistic individuals simply decapitated her while they were attacking, torturing, and killing Israelis," he added. Additionally, Herzog offered his condolences to the family, who had first reported the young woman's death, and expressed that what had happened was a "great tragedy."

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the young woman's death. A spokesperson also informed the EFE news agency that a part of the young woman's body had been found, confirming her demise.

"She was abducted at the music festival, tortured, and displayed in Gaza by Hamas terrorists, experiencing unimaginable horrors," they mentioned in their statement.Through the radio station "KAN," Shani's mother, Ricarda, sadly informed about her daughter's death.

"Unfortunately, yesterday we received the news that my daughter is no longer alive. It is very sad, but at least we no longer have the agonizing uncertainty. We would like to recover her body to be able to bury it, but not if the price is a prisoner exchange with Hamas. (…) Shani was an artist with a pure and kind heart. A passionate lover of life."

Shani Louk, a 22-year-old, had attended the open-air electronic music festival known as "Tribe Of Nova" or the Peace Festival. This event took place over the weekend near Kibbutz Reim, an agricultural cooperative in southern Israel, in a rural area close to the Gaza Strip.

During the event, Hamas terrorists had infiltrated the festival, killing 260 people and taking many others hostage.

On October 7th, Hamas launched an attack on Israeli territory, resulting in the loss of 1,400 lives, injuries to 5,400 people, and the abduction of 239 individuals in Gaza.

Shani had gone viral in a disturbing way, as various videos circulated showing the young woman on top of a van, being displayed, apparently unconscious and with a broken leg.

At first, her mother, Ricarda Louk, was alarmed to recognize her daughter in one of the videos circulating on the internet, due to her distinctive tattoos and dyed hair, which led her to sound the alarm. The family initially believed that the young woman was injured after being kidnapped at the music festival, but they currently hold the belief that she was possibly killed on the same day, possibly by a gunshot to the head, as reported by the German channel RTL/ntv.

Shani Louk's entire family had hoped that the young woman was seriously injured but alive in a hospital in Gaza; however, this heartbreaking news robbed them of all faith.

So far, the number of Israeli and foreign hostages in the hands of Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip has increased to 239.
