The news resurfaced after the video was released on social media
An employee of the "Jack-in-the-Box" fast-food chain in Houston, Texas, targeted a customer's car through the drive-thru window. This incident took place in March 2021, near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, after a man picked up his pregnant wife and 6-year-old daughter from the airport. The family headed to Jack in the Box and placed their order at the drive-thru, where they were attended to by Alloniea Ford.
The incident stemmed from a dispute with the employee over the absence of curly fries in Ramos' order. Although this was widely discussed at the time, it is the first time that the video detailing the events has been made public.
After receiving their food, the man requested the missing item, but his request was denied. This refusal set the stage for the subsequent events, as reported by Fox News.
In a second interaction at the drive-thru window, security camera footage shows Ford taking a firearm out of her pocket and then concealing it again. Another Jack in the Box employee intervened in an attempt to defuse the situation, but Ford continued her argument with Ramos, leading to a confrontation.
The employee began throwing ketchup packets through the vehicle window, to which the customer responded by throwing the items back. Faced with this escalation, the other employee closed and secured the drive-thru window.
The woman was found guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Recent documents reveal that her parole ended in June 2023, as reported by the media.
