So far, 4 minors have been rescued.
In an intense and challenging rescue operation, four children have been successfully rescued from a group of six children and two adults who were trapped in a hanging cable car over a ravine in Pakistan. The situation had been exacerbated by strong winds that hindered the operation, and the imminent sunset added urgency to the task.
Earlier, a military commando team had attempted to reach the suspended vehicle using a helicopter.

Efforts had also been deployed to string a rope on both sides of the cable car, hoping to establish a secure and stable connection. However, adverse conditions had presented significant difficulties in the process.
The children, aged between 10 and 16, were on their way to school in Battagram when a cable of the cable car gave way, leaving the vehicle hanging in the air at a dizzying height of 274 meters (900 feet) above the ground.

The situation became even more alarming because one of the children, a 16-year-old teenager, had a heart condition and had been unconscious for at least two hours, as reported by one of the adults trapped in the vehicle.

The distress lasted for over 10 hours as rescuers worked tirelessly to find a solution to this dangerous situation.
A local resident informed the AFP news agency that the cable car vehicle was "suspended by a single rope," adding an additional level of tension to the rescue operation.
