The National Weather Service is anticipating cooler weather in San Diego County this week, with winds and light showers in some areas at the beginning of the week. High temperatures are expected to reach the upper 60s to low 70s in the western valleys, while desert areas will see highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
A wind advisory has been issued from 11 a.m. on Monday until at least 9 a.m. on Tuesday for the county’s deserts and mountains. Additionally, a small craft advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. on Monday until at least 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, high temperatures are expected to be in the mid-60s to low 70s. An increase in surf of 4 to 6 feet is forecast, along with hazardous conditions due to strong wave currents.
