On Wednesday, the session of the Citizen Security and Civil Protection Commission of the Baja California Congress was abruptly interrupted by a group of alleged judiciary workers. The group stormed the legislative chamber, causing a disturbance that quickly escalated into violence.

The incident, captured exclusively by a BAJA NEWS reporter, showed how the protesters attempted to enter the Benito Juárez session hall, where the Congress was discussing the Judicial Reform Bill during a special session scheduled for 2:00 PM. The confrontation with the security forces guarding the entrance led to pushing and chaos, resulting in several people being caught in the turmoil.
So far, two people have been reported injured as a result of the clash. Witnesses at the scene noted that some individuals were crushed due to the intensity of the altercation between the protesters and the authorities.
The judiciary workers, who were demanding to be heard by the legislators, managed to take over the Congress chamber after breaking down the doors. The protesters have stated their intention to remain in the building until their demands are addressed.
