A nightmare scenario unfolded on Thursday at San Diego Zoo Safari Park when four people became trapped in an elevator.

According to authorities, two adults and two children were stuck in the elevator. Fortunately, firefighters were able to respond quickly and rescue them.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department reported the successful rescue at 8:59 p.m. Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the incident.
