This summer, the parks in the city of San Diego will transform into outdoor cinemas, offering a free cinematic experience for all residents.

The Summer Movies in the Park program, sponsored by the County of San Diego and the San Diego Parks Foundation, brings a selection of movies that will be shown in various parks throughout the city during the entire summer season.

Screenings will start on Friday, May 31, and continue throughout the summer. Attendees are invited to bring beach chairs, blankets, and picnics to comfortably enjoy the movies under the stars. It is recommended to arrive early to participate in pre-show activities, which promise additional entertainment for the whole family.

Movies will be shown 15 minutes after sunset, creating a magical and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy outdoor cinema. This initiative not only aims to provide free entertainment but also to foster community engagement and the use of public spaces.
